Intended Audience
This symposium will primarily target hematologists, hematologist/oncologists, and medical
oncologists who need to be kept apprised of the rapidly changing developments in this
therapeutic area.
Learning Objectives
You will be better able to review the molecular mechanisms involved in CML pathophysiology and imatinib resistance, and evaluate the utility of frequent molecular and cytogenetic testing in patients with CML who are receiving TKIs in order to improve patient outcomes.
In order to develop optimal and better personalized treatment regimens utilizing present and future therapeutic options in patients with CML, you will be able to critically examine recent clinical trials and data analyses and consider the role of mutation analysis in influencing treatment decisions.
You will be better able to consider adverse event profiles associated with immediate and prolonged use of TKIs to optimize therapeutic decisions for your patients with CML.
